What is this information?
The briefings contain regional statistical information collated by the Office of National Statistics, and regional intelligence provided by the Government Offices.
Why are there only certain cities and towns listed on the site?
The cities and towns have been chosen for reasons based on their size, location, and relevance to different Government departments.
Why don't you cover Scotland and Wales?
Following referenda in September 1997 that showed that most people in Scotland and Wales wanted more devolved power, Wales now has its own assembly, and Scotland has its own Parliament.
